The Mysteries ..
Set your intention in advance.
Dear Friends,
Many sincere habit builders struggle with getting up early every morning to allow sufficient time to build new habits before assuming the duties of the day. Here are several suggestions, one or more of which might help you with this challenge. Before you fall asleep every night, affirm:
"I am going to get up at _AM tomorrow, and at that exact time, be fully awake and ready to work. I love to run/meditate (for example) and look forward to it with great joy!"
Set your firm intention the night before. It can help!
Place your alarm clock far enough away from your bed so that you have to get up and out of bed to turn it off (but close enough so that you'll be sure to hear it).
Do the Simple Stretching as soon as you get out of bed. Don't think, just do!
Are you getting enough regular sleep—that is, are you going to bed early enough at night so that you are not overly sleepy in the mornings?
Eat little, specially spicy food at night, but do drink plenty of water.

Beautifully grounded reminder. The part about setting your intention the night before really landed for me—it’s like preloading your willpower. I’ve noticed that when I decide the night before to show up for myself, my morning self doesn’t have to negotiate. Also love the simplicity of “don’t think, just do.” Sometimes the body remembers what the mind resists. Thanks for sharing these rituals—it feels like an invitation back to center.
Keeping alarm far away if good option to wake up early... Nice Idea...
