Dear Friends,
How to get started without overthinking it :
... Unclutter your Brain: Write whatever’s in your head.
... Gratitude List: Note what you’re grateful for. Even if it’s just tea/ chats/ naps.
... Inner Weather Report: Describe how you feel.
... Letter to your Future: A capsule of your thoughts and worries.
This post highlights the importance of reflection and practising the presence of God.
Recalling the scene from Lakshya, where Hrithik remembers his friend’s advice - isn’t it powerful?
Remember that powerful scene in Gully Boy when Sher tells Murad, "Apne andar ke lava ko fatne de, bahar aane de." Let your fire break free - unleash the energy within you!
We've all experienced those moments when we outperform ourselves—when everything just aligns. The real challenge is not just reaching that peak once; but maintaining that high level at every stage of life.
How do we make that happen?
Knowing what fuels and drains you isn’t just self-awareness - it’s the blueprint of your personality.
… Understanding our energy and its impact on the nervous system guides us forward.
Make reflection a habit.
… Experiment, explore, and uncover what truly fuels our spirit.
… Inversion mental model to every habit, popularized by Charlie Munger.
This involves turning a problem upside down and thinking about how to avoid failure or negative outcomes, rather than just focusing on achieving success.
✅ Instead of seeking habits that improve your life, ask: What habits drain my energy?
✅ Instead of asking “How do I stay consistent?”, ask “What usually makes me quit?” and address those obstacles.
Don’t chase an impossible ideal; aim for progress, not perfection. There will never be a perfect moment to start. The right time is now.
The wonderful lines from Denzel:
“I was sitting in my mother’s beauty parlour. And I’m looking in the mirror and I see behind me this woman under the dryer and every time she looked up – she every time I looked up she was looking at me. She was looking me in the eye, I don’t know who she was and I said you know, she said somebody give me a pen, give me a pencil I have a prophecy.
March 27th, 1975, she said boy you are going to travel the world and speak to millions of people.”
Don’t just aspire to make a living. Aspire to make a difference !
Think this journal model as the iceberg model.
If journaling feels like a chore, turn it into something that excites you. Use colorful pens, add stickers, or record voice notes (give date & save) make it an expression, not a task. Some find clarity in bullet points, others in poetry, messy lists etc.
There’s no right way - only your way. Just Write !!!
Right. Instead of waiting for the perfect time to start, now is the perfect time to start. Thanks for the post!
👏🏻👏🏻 awesome work! All the best to all your future endeavours!
